Welcome to the Spring-ford youth football Flag Program! Grades K-1
Our flag program teaches the basic instruction of football but at the same time teaches the kids the importance of teamwork, respect and the importance of listening to instruction all while having fun. The flag season consists of one practice per week, one inter-league game per week (played on our flag field) and one game against one our ICFL partnering schools. Home ICFL games will be played on Saturday mornings at our facility located behind the 5-6-7 grade center.
We believe our Youth Flag Program is the foundation of our league which is why we give the same attention and coaching as we do our tackle players. During the season we will hold events that will promote close interaction with our tackle program. Our Goal is to show our flag players why hard work, dedication and learning fundamentals is so important if they choose to transition to the game of tackle. Plus its just really cool giving them a chance to hang out with their older football “Brothers”.
Registration includes a game jersey, game pants, a helmet, a flag set and a mouth piece. The only thing you will need to purchase are cleats and an extra mouth piece (optional but strongly suggested).
